Jinx!

This is Jinx.

He's our FOURTH attempt at a sixth cat. Hence the name, Jinx. The first one, Dexter I, was infected with distemper when we brought him home from the shelter, and died a few days later. The second one, Dexter II, just disappeared last October, and never came back. The third one, Pickle Pie, made the unfortunate choice of sampling some spilled antifreeze, and passed on at almost six months old. Needless to say, we're extremely protective of this little guy, and doing everything in our power to ensure he makes it to adulthood!

Mr. Jinx is a Bengal - his mother was a rescue Bengal, and his father was an apple head Siamese. So far, he's living up to the Bengal reputation! He likes to talk....alot, and VERY loudly. He's utterly inseparable from us, and completely fearless with the other cats. He obviously prefers to drink running water, and has already tried to play in his water dish a bit. And the other day, he played fetch a few times with zero training whatsoever! He also went on his first long car ride yesterday, and had a great time looking out the window and sleeping on my lap.

He also thinks that Benna's cat, Miss Toot, is just fine for the occasional suckle...who isn't exactly thrilled with the situation, but tolerates it....barely!

He's a special little dude, and we sure as hell hope he sticks around for the long haul!
